The Ravines

These ancient fluvial canals formed in the course of geological eras are, today, among the few places where natural vegetation and man-created rural landscape cohesist in a perfect balance.
This is due to the microclimate particularly favourable to the flora. Cultivated areas and meadows are at the bottom of the Ravine,Mediterranean maquis on its sides.
