The rock church of Lama D’Antico
It stands in the centre of the village and it is imposing in size and architecture….a real Cathedral Church.
Its frescoes are a mixture of both Oriental and Latin traditions.
St. John’s
In St.John’s you can still see the peculiar elements of rock churches: the iconostasis used for religious services,the frescoes depicting holy stories and Saints after the Byzantine style.
St.Lawrence's
This church is quite different from the main church of the settlement as a small hall opens into a more architecturally articulated space devoted to religious services. The frescoes are particularly bright and elegant.
